"On The Couch" - Gold Coast 2004
Well what a fantastic night we had "ON THE COUCH" at the Gold Coast last Wednesday.
It was quite chaotic during the last day as The Sun Newspaper did a big article on the event and announced ticket sales at the door. I was sitting in makeup and at 5pm (we started at 6pm), I had to turn my phone off to callers enquiring about the night. WE WERE SOLD OUT!One guy turned up at 5.15pm and handed out a wad of bills and came back about 40 mins later with 7 people. It was just wild.
Judging from all the emails I received, everyone got something from the night and it was worth the long drive (for those coming from Brisbane) and the late night.

I was at the info night at the Gold Coast last night and I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work in organising it. It was really informative and great getting some inside info, especially from Ben Parkinson and Tom McSweeney. And you were so excellent
at doing the presenting and interviewing - no notes or cue cards or anything! Well done!

Had an apsolutely fantastic time last night.
I got so much out of it last night I can''t thank you enough. You''re doing a great job and should be commended.
We had a little impromptu session with casting consultant Ben Parkinson at the end of the night and it was amazing. Everyone got so much from it. Well done to those brave souls who volunteered to come up on stage and be scrutinized.
For me, it was great to see all the actors who I knew from my QLD days and to see everyone taking in so much and getting motivated and energised. The acting game is a hard slog and you need to be around like minded, enthusiastic people - plenty of 'em in QLD.
