Q. What training courses should I do?
A. There are plenty of training courses out there. The main thing with training is that once you have learnt the basics of say camera technique or theatre technique, the most important thing is to keep doing training, not so much as to learn new things but to keep practising. There are of course the recognised training schools that have 3 year courses (NIDA, VCA, WAPPA, QUT) etc but numbers are limited. If you find that you have missed out, all is not lost but you have to take on a different approach. There are ways that you can get training for FREE. Refer to the Tutorials section (in the members area) for more info on training.

Q. I need to choose and learn a monologue and was wondering if you could direct me to some sources (books, websites, ...) that you would recommend.
A. Hi Domenic

We have Dean Carey's : MASTERCLASS Books for Men and Women - The Actors Audition Manual.
They have heaps of monologue scenes in them and are fantastic.
